DESCRIPTION:
The Columbia Maryland Chapter of the Pierians held their annual Christmas party at one of their members home. The Pierians are African American women dedicated to building generational bridges through celebration of the Arts. This years party was a great success and the attendance exceeded expectations. Special recognition and speeches were given by individuals like Eva Anderson who is a Dancer and Choreographer, Wylene Sims Burch who is founder of the Howard County African American Cultural Center and Rosalind W. Johnson who is a writer and author. You must see this video and hear the wonderful stories and valuable messages each of these women shared with the Pierians and their guest. Live music at the event was performed by two talented and gifted Wilde Lake High School students.
