BingeNow.com (the "Site"), is owned and operated by BingeNow LLC ("BingeNow"). This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use Agreement (collectively, "the Agreement") sets forth the guidelines for protecting the information you provide to us while using this site.
Type of Information Collected
The types of information BingeNow collects about you falls into the following four (4) categories:
- Personal Information. BingeNow may collect and store your name, postal address, email address, AIM ID, telephone number, home page URL, gender, ethnicity, birthday and any additional information you enter into your profile (collectively, "Personal Identifying Information").
- Security Information. BingeNow may collect and store the password that you use to login to the Site.
- Usage Information. BingeNow may collect and store the pages you have visited and when, the IP addresses of the computers from which you access the Site, and the URLs of web pages that referred you to the Site. The Site uses cookies to store your identity and session information when you log into the Site. While you can use basic functions of the Site without allowing these cookies, cookies are required to login and post content to the Site.
- Uploaded Content. BingeNow may collect and store the actual videos, comments, channel information and other content that you have uploaded to the Site.
Use and Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
BingeNow generally does not share your Personal Identifying Information with any third party, such as an agent, contractor, or affiliated company, except for the purpose of providing services to BingeNow or the Site, and in that case, only to a party who agrees to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. BingeNow also will not sell or otherwise provide your Personal Identifying Information to any other third party without your prior consent.
BingeNow will however, cooperate with law enforcement inquiries, obey court orders, and honor subpoenas and other legal processes. Your Personal Identifying Information may be disclosed if we are compelled by law or legal process to disclose it. We may also disclose such information if we determine, at our sole discretion, that disclosure would be useful in connection with investigating possible non-compliance either with the law or with any Site policy, including this Agreement.
BingeNow may use and disclose aggregate information about our visitors or members, (collectively, "Users") to the public or to third parties, but in only ways that do not reveal Personal Identifying Information about specific Users.
BingeNow may also use your Personal Identifying Information to contact you regarding issues or problems with content you have uploaded to the site, or to occasionally notify you by email about new features or important changes to the Site or special offers from our business partners. You can request that we stop sending notification emails to you, and you will be promptly removed from the email list.
Security
BingeNow is careful to follow the best industry-standard security practices to ensure the safety of your Personal Identifying Information. We take precautions including Site security, encryption and security audits to protect your information. Despite our best efforts, however, we can not be held responsible for any breach of security or for the actions of any person or entity other than BingeNow.
While we will make all reasonable efforts to see that your information is used in compliance with this Agreement, for the reason above, we cannot guarantee that all of your Personal Identifying Information will never be disclosed in ways you do not expect or which are not described in this Agreement.
Business Transfers
In the event BingeNow is acquired, merged or consolidated or sells substantially all of its assets, BingeNow reserves the right to sell or transfer the information collected pursuant to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Children
Children under the age of 13 should not provide us with any personal information about themselves. BingeNow does not knowingly collect Personal Identifying Information from children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected such information from a child under 13 without parental consent, the information will be removed from our databases as soon as reasonably possible.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
BingeNow LLC reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time.
