He first broke into the region back in 2016 as a featured guest on Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home,” which made it all the way to No. 4 #PostMalone and #TyDolla$ign’s “Psycho” is the sixth No. 1 single in the U.S. this year, and all but two of those have fit squarely under the hip-hop label. Drake’s “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What” and Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” preceded “Psycho,” and now that they are done ruling, there is room for Malone to lead once again.
