Cool question. I think no, a person should not be able to press charges, why? Because, 75% plus of us would be locked up. Prisons would double up over night. Say you married a fool but didn't find out until after the vows. Now you stuck. Now he/she is no cheater, but now you see that they like to fight and hurt you when things don't go their way. Should you stick it out til death due us part, or take a chance on finding true love and risk going to jail, and also remember you were the victim, lol that would be a trip. I do at times think of questions like this one, and it's cool to ask them. Mama always said "A closed mouth can't get feed". Peace...
