DESCRIPTION:
I wrote this poem/rap from the position of the 'watcher" I have seen my family members and friends die from black on black crime. I have seen the ignorance done out of pride. I have seen how one choice can effect, affect, and infect families and the community. One man die and the other goes to jail, so both families are without the father figure. And where I'm from no one does anything about it, no one speaks up on the issues in the community. No one comes up with a solution for this problem, so I decided to be the voice, the solution, the way for my generation, for my city, for my people.
