He played the drums in band but it did not workout, so he started writing poems. This is where he learns to put words together with beats. With music influences like,Cash Money Records & No Limit Records, he set out to find a crew and make a name for myself. He signed with Madd Loot Records (westbank New Orleans) in 1998. With southern style, heavy melody voice, Yohnnie has a way with words that touches the crowd emotions. He recorded over 20 trunk rattling, club banging songs doing with artist like Sac-a-mill, Ducktapuh & Rexless Records artist. However he recorded hit songs with artist like Young Money’s Lil Chuckee, Phive Mics, Da Heat, & Joey “Da” Y. He also has a attachment with the crowd that’s un- heard of when performing. He was the opening act for over 40 of the Rexless/Maddloot Southern tour in 2005. Getting older and more wiser we decide to move to Atlanta to advance his chance to be seen or heard, so he mastered the craft of producing video & Film. Producing over 20 music videos & acting in the hit webisode “Mean While Back N Da Lab”. Because of his internet success, his New Orleans family and friends relocated to Atlanta, So he started a big movement after Katrina called New Orlanta and the movement was adopted from every major hip hop artist that relocated to Atlanta,Ga.
