About
J-Holben Productions
Joshua Holben has been professionally producing music for over 10 years.
Ever since Josh was old enough to talk and walk, he was beating on the
table making his own beats. When Josh was 9 years old he got a guitar
for Christmas. After a few days he taught himself how to play the
guitar. The first percussion instrument he played was the bongos when he
was 10 years old, at his local church, soon after he learn how to play
the maracas as well as the drums. A few months later, he taught himself
how to play the piano. By the fourth grade he was in the school band,
playing the snare drum. Playing in the band tell him how to read and
write music. Around the same time hip hop artist Eminem emerged and
Joshua realize that a lot of hip hop beats use a similar track pattern
as the percussion instruments he learned how to play in the band. So
even in today’s digital age Josh still knows how to read and write
music and arranged in such a way that the cutting edge combining both
worlds of the hip hop digital new school and using actual instruments in
his productions.
Colombian
Born on may 10th 1992, birth name Christian Camacho Rodriguez, I was
born in Colombia Cartagena, being in the chicago area since I was 4, I
consider chicago my home. Around my teenage years a lot of my friends
called me colombian and it just stuck. I use it as my rap name because
it represents where I'm from. Music has been apart of my life since I
can remember. When I was in the third grade I started listening to
Eminem, who has heavily influenced my life. I listen to all kinds of
music anything that appeals to my ears. I started writing when I was
about 14 years old, filling up notebooks with lyrics that had no beat to
them. Being a rapper was never a reality in my mind at the time, but the
urge to write never left me. As time went by I started writing to beats
and making songs and recording. In 2012 loppsyded of triple S S.L.A.N.G.
asked me to join the movement. To date, we have made two cds, gained a
following, and added J-holben productions to the family. The team Triple
S S.LA.N.G which consists of myself, LOPPSYDED, KLIM, HARD TYMES, AND
J-Holben PROD. Strive hard and relentlessly towards success.
Klim
David Klimczak. Lived in chicago his entire life. ,y peanuts and i have
never really a lot, but as far back as i can remember they worked as
hard as they possibly could to support me and and my brother, food on the
table, and a roof over our heads. Growing up in the city i was greatly
influenced by the hip hop scene. Listening to Ice Cube, Eazy E, and Dr.
Dre really made me understand the outline of hip-hop music, and what it
is all about. As i got older Eminem and Young Jeezy became the rappers
that I listened to daily. I remember when i would sit in my room play
there cds, and pretend I was on stage performing them. As time went on,
i started taking it more serious and started writing my own music.Since
hip-hop was the only thing i was really ever familiar with I was
instantly attracted to the idea of being and artist/rapper myself. For
the first few years of becoming a rapper, i did it by myself and with a
few of my old buddies. We recorded tracks and what not but never really
started performing until I was re untited with an old friend, Ryan
Kocanda(Loppsyded), at first we were known and Klim & Loppsyded, but as
time went on,we grew and added a few people to our team/crew and became
Triple S S.L.A.N.G. and J-Holben Prod. My team and I are all 5 years in
and face to face with our dreams. The thing that keeps me going the most
is the fact that we have put way too much hard work, sacrifices, and
dedication to ever give up this journey.
