Once upon a time, long, long ago a handsome young Guyanese man met a beautiful St. Lucian girl. They shook hands, hugged, kissed and eventually made it to home base where Lance Edwin Joseph Gill Jr was born. 18 years later, I arrive in Charlotte where I began my college career. Naturally I majored in Music Business & Technology and has managed to release 3 Projects and record dozens of songs all in the campus studio. While in one of these epic sessions my engineer DJ Force sparked the idea for my stage name Lance Soal, and it stuck ever since. In 2012 me and a great friend of mine launched an initiative called Wall Street Hip Hop where we educate the Hip Hop community about Wall Street/Investing and Connect these two colossal industries like never before. Now, at 22 years old and months away from graduating undergrad, I have a serious question to answer. What’s Next? With 54% of graduates either being unemployed or underemployed in 2012, and student debt being at a staggering trillion dollars… 1,000,000,000,000…, I have no choice but to grab life by the balls and go for everything I ever wanted. Success and Wealth in all it’s abundance is a journey not a destination so even when I make it to where people call me “successful” or “wealthy” I must always remember I’m Still Writing My Story…
