About
Call him whatever you want, but make sure your words are correct when you’re mentioning Rosevelt’s name. The west coast emcee, producer, and musical activist has been around for quite some time, and he’s put in work… I mean, some SERIOUS work. If you’re one of the many activists that can call out a very popular radio station in Los Angeles for not representing their hometown natives, especially NOT being hiphop as u ‘claim’ to be, AND help put together an independent radio show as well as independent music conference which will be going down in September? In other words, you will be needing THIS man on your team.
Personally, I’d like to give you an intro on who he is, but I cant. There’s way too much to write about… which leads me to this Rock Bottom High LP. As an Inland Empire bred-turned-Long Beach native, he goes across the board adopting various styles of beats from the past all the way up to today’s culture. With production from THX (Royce Da 5’9?, The Clipse, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, etc), Seige Monstracity (Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Tyrese, Marsha Ambrosius, etc), Willie B of TDE (the whole Black Hippy movement) and artists like Hawdwerk, Ill Camille, Noa James, Roscoe Umali, West Coast legend Kokane, and others… it’s not to see why people wouldn’t want to work with this brother right here
