A hip-hop group Ramaj Eroc is a part of with fellow Chicagoan, Lyrik Luciano(20) & Kankakee's Kyd Splash(19). They all met each other in high school in 2008. After a few months, they decided instead of pursuing the music industry individually, to join together & make the rare male-male-female group that hip-hop barely sees. Ever since Ramaj & Lyrik moved to California and left Kyd Splash back in Illinois, Splash has been making her way to improve as a hip-hop artist. While she's practices & ups her skill, Ramaj, Lyrik, & Hona Costello(23) formed a group called #Surreal since relocating! Ramaj Eroc's first official mixtape "Last Train To Japan Vol. 1" was released July 15, 2011. The project was sponsored by AlwaysNewMusik.com & was featured on sites such as GoWhereHipHop.com, ChicagoNow.com, RapCypher.com, HITPMusic.com, & More. One of the highlight songs on this mixtape was #PrayForJapan, which was released on March 11, 2011. It's a dedication song for the Japan victims of the recent earthquake & tsunami on March 10. In August, Ramaj released "Last Train [EP]", which features 7 of the premiere songs on the mixtape. After taking a year to promote his music & collaborate, his new sophomore mixtape "New Pair Of Glasses" was released June 29, 2012. The first single "For The Love" Featuring Poncho was released April 1. It was featured on 30+ Blogs & the music video received 6000+ views in 3 weeks on youtube.com, making it Ramaj's most successful music video at the time. A remix version of the song appears on his new mixtape which accumalated 500+ downloads in 3 days, succeeding his previous mixtape by a landslide. Lights, Camera, Action. Ramaj Eroc has performed at numerous locations like The Airliner In Los Angeles, CA, Club Revolution In Redlands, CA, which was hosted by YMCMB's Glasses Malone, Olivet Nazarene University, Stevie Hunter Fest and the Annual Black History program in Kankakee, IL, Eastern Illinois University, & University Of Illinois(Champaign-Urbana)
