Mon'Ray Penny was born in Forth Worth TX, then relocated to Houston,TX. Pennyboi lived in various parts in Houston and went to many different schools in his early years. Pennyboi was introduce to rap in elementary when his mother brought him snoop dogg doggystyle back in 1993, that's when he fell in love with rap music. Pennyboi musical influences are Tupac,Biggie, Eminem, Kanye West,Jay-Z and his favorite Houston artist such as dj screw, lil flip, ugk,lil keke,swishahouse, chamillionaire,paul wall,slim thug.By the age the age of 17, Pennyboi finished high school and moved to the great northwest Seattle, Washington.While living in sea/tac Pennyboi was introduce to a local rapper named Slim Jackson and Slim song game influenced Pennyboi to make music.By the age of 21 Pennyboi relocated back to Houston,Texas to get away from the bad surrounding and to start fresh on life. Pennyboi linked up with a child hood friend and Dropped his first mixtape called Open Season Part.1 and also linkup with his homie Charles Scott (leetochuxx) who started mytazwell music. Pennyboi is also a member of the mvpgang (MORALZ,VALUES,AND PRICIPLEZ tha Undaground Ovalordz) a underground Houston rap group. Pennyboi is currently working on is solo mixtape N.B.O (Nuttin But Original).
