Justin McCain is a 23 year old spoken word poet, who has been writing since the age of 14, and performing since the age of 17. He has performed in local venues in St. Louis, Missouri such as: Legacy Books and Cafe (Urb Poetry), Knowing Books & Cafe, SOULstage etc. He has also been the feature performer at over 15 venues and has hosted and competed in a plethora of poetry slam competitions. In 2012-2013, he will be featured on the poilot episode of the CW's "Who's Next 2 Blow" as well as HBO's "The Spoken Word". Known for his heavy metaphors, unique subject matter and distinct performing style, McCain's poetry inspires you to think differently and critically about the world around us.
