Michael Stewart also known as Mic ILLUSION aka Jus Mic was born and raised in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, New York. Jus Mic started pursuing a music career in his early teens and he was bound to pursue his professional music career as a Christian rap artist, being born into a musical family. Jus Mic was also developed as a producer under MOZELL Entertainment Group in NYC and Los Angeles, under the guidance and support of a mentor and friend Richard Willis Jr. Jus Mic's life catapulted from a downward spiral of personal issues, from being a well-connected secular artist and producer , to a unique Christian rap artist. Jus Mic's life has changed; he has experience the call of God on his life for a higher purpose. Jus Mic's struggles mustered the inspiration to write the album songs: “ Don’t Judge Me, Thankful, Change My Life, and Do It Today". Jus Mic has given his life to Christ ,in July 2011 ,he married his Fiance Leslie Lopez and has been to date, a faithful member at The Temple of Restoration in Queens, New York.
