Part time dreamer, Full Time artist. Born Darius Hooper in April of 1991, Dukii is a young Compton native with a passion for music. Geared with only the miseducation he received from his beloved city he quickly recognized his various musical talents and his unique way with words. Around the time he graduated from middle school he received his first iPod, and started studying some of his favorite artists and really understanding music and lyrics. Once he realized this gift, he turned the poems he previously wrote for high school sweethearts into lyrical symphonies. He eventually got together with a few friends that he met during local pick-up games of basketball and decided to start a group which was later called “Lost Boys”. This group has recently dropped a mix tape titled “The Tape” and is now planning shows. Dukii is also currently working on "Day Dreaming" his solo mixtape which he plans to drop sometime this April.
