Im Jahleik Stacey better know as Jah Stacey Born In Queens, NY raised in Clearwater, FL I first started making videos when I was about 20 years old. At the time I was chasing dreams of being a rapper so I started shooting and editing my own music videos that I shot with my little Sony Flip Camera. Over time I became really good at it so I started shooting videos for other Locals in my area. I ended up moving back up to NY for about a year an I wanted to continue building up my online presence so I created a YouTube Channel an fell into making Comedy videos an from there it picked up an it also allowed me to learn more about film an how it works eventually I became more focused on becoming a better film editor more than being a rapper. After some time I kept going with the comedy videos and it picked up not as much as I would like but I was seeing results an it kinda became my passion to do videos. I decided that I would rather go to film school an work on perfecting my craft an have a degree in something that could land me in a position like work for a company rather than gamble on a music career. I currently shoot all kinds of videos now music, dance, comedy, documentary .. I Love what I do !! Hopefully I can win this contest it will allow me to purchase all new equipment and go to a good Film School.
