Rodney James, better known by his stage name Fatz Domino, is an American rapper from Houston, TX. Fatz Domino is Houston's best kept secret, a refreshing artist with thought provoking conscious lyrics that doesn't necessarily sound Houston. The 26 year old began writing poetry as an avenue of expression, this passion evolved into the gifted ability to freestyle. It was a freestyle that caught the attention of his childhood friend Devron Zeno who urged him to get in the studio and record. Listening to his music you could never tell that Fatz Domino nearly ignored his God given ability to rap and pursue a career in the music industry, one reason is he sounds so at home and the other is his ability to connect with the listening audience.
