I am native American and raised in the Bronx, NY. I was raised by my grandmother because my mother was on drugs. I started writing at five. I wrote letters to my mother and asked her why she wasnt around, or why is she hurting her family. My grandmother would give my mother those notes. I eventually put what I wrote in letters on a beat. Then I chose the name Quintescence
